Country Music Legend Ricky Skaggs Headlines ‘Docabilly!’ Set for March 3, 8 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 concert benefitting The Breakfast at St. Andrew’s!

Acoustic Routes Concerts and The Ark just announced that country music legend and 15-time Grammy® winner Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder will headline the concert, called Docabilly! – a celebration of the life and music of Arthel “Doc” Watson on March 3, 2018 – what would have been Doc’s 95th birthday.

Opening for Skaggs is singer-songwriter Nathan Bell of Chattanooga, Tenn., who has shared bills with legends like Emmylou Harris, Taj Mahal and Norman Blake.

The emcee for the evening is the Rev. Lisa Tucker-Gray, the newly installed rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Toledo, Ohio who is an accomplished singer herself. She is also the daughter of the former long-time director of the Breakfast at St. Andrew’s, the Rev. Svea Gray.

All profits from the concert go to the Breakfast at St. Andrew’s, where they will be used to purchase food supplies and offset expenses, such as cleaning, heating and maintenance.

Tickets to Docabilly! start at $55 and are on sale through The Ark box office and the University of Michigan Ticket Office, 734-763-TKTS.
